Val d'Allos

Introduction

Located to the source of the Verdon river, in the Alpes de Haute Provence department, Val d'Allos is special in that the town has two ski areas classified among the Ski France resorts, with the “Famille Plus” label. The two sisters areas are 7 kilometers apart : Val d'Allos 1500 (le Seignus) and Val d'Allos 1800 (la Foux) are above all complementary. Combined with Pra-Loup, they offer 230km of slopes.
Val d’Allos 1800 - La Foux
La Foux, a high mountain atmosphere in the Southern Alps, Espace Lumière which also includes the Pra-Loup ski area will enchant skilled and athletic skiers it joins by the Agneliers valley.
Built at an altitude of 1800 meters, its all-wood architecture is unique ; there are no concrete blocks or skyscrapers here, only chalets and small residences decorated with wood, offering  a friendly atmosphere.
It is an ideal venue for families and friends to appreciate the dry, vivifying climate and friendly environment.
Val d’Allos 1500 - le Seignus
Le Seignus, is a village and ski area, situated right on the Mercantour National Park. A point of convergence between traditional mountain and new activities, it is a perfect family place.
It  has a variety of slopes, easy to challenging. It has earned its “village/ski area” status by vertue of a gondola linking it with the Val d'Allos 1400 (village).

Allos is located 2km down Val d'Allos 1500 - le Seignus ski resort and 9 km down Val d'Allos 1800 - la Foux.
A typical mountain village in the southern alps. Here you can enjoy your stay and profit by cross country skiing along verdon river. It is located nearby Mercantour National  park, which is a protected area.
